You Can Overcome The Illusion of Sickness Through Spiritual Healing

I’ve been working on praying over people for healing.  The Lord has been teaching me about the way it works. He recently told me that sickness and sin are an illusion.  Now don’t get upset. This doesn’t mean that your mental illness, chronic disease, or circumstances are not real or valid in the physical world. It means in the spirit world they don’t exist. This means you are whole and healthy in the spirit.   Jesus took on sickness and sin when He died on the cross and when He arose everyone who said or will say in the future yes to Jesus is free from sin and sickness. This…

How Jesus Can Help You Take One Day At A Time

Some of you know that my ex-husband and close friend, Mike, has been really sick this past year.  He has end-stage liver failure. When he was found unresponsive last Saturday, they found he had sepsis, a serious blood infection, and kidney failure along with the liver failure.  When someone is this sick, you can only take one day at a time. So that’s what I am doing.  Also, I may not be able to write in-depth research-based posts right now do to his hospitalization. Mike recently made me his Power of Attorney for Healthcare.  What that means is while he is unable to make decisions about his care, I will…

Who Is In The Driver’s Seat Of Your Life? Putting Jesus First in 2018

Jesus has touched my life in such sweeping gestures in 2018 from finding my church through a vision to healing me physically through prayer and in many other ways. That’s right. I had a mental picture of the logo of my church, three times before I looked it up online. So many unusual things have happened regarding my faith this year.  I have just been blown away by it all.  For those of you who are not practicing Christians, some of this may seem strange to you.  That’s ok.  I appreciate you just the way you are and I hope you feel the same.  I started this year depressed from…

A New Kind of Support Group for Christians With Mental Illness

“I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.” Philippians 4:13 (NIV) As I mentioned in an earlier post, I am starting a Christian Support Group at my church. I am looking for someone to back me up or co-lead so that if I am ill the group doesn’t have to be canceled. There are a couple of resources I have found on Christian Support Groups. These are NAMI FaithNet and Fresh Hope. What Is NAMI FaithNet NAMI FaithNet is an outreach to all religious organizations. They are an interfaith resource network of NAMI members, friends, clergy and congregations of all faith traditions who wish to encourage faith communities…
